Welcome to Arkabutla, Mississippi and Americana Ranch!
We invite you to join us for a refreshing get-away, enjoying the peaceful country quiet and natural beauty of our land. Join us for horseback riding, pony rides, and a 'special outing' which a change of scenery and change of pace can provide!
Arkabutla is a small two store, two church, post office and bank farming community conveniently located 35 miles south of Memphis, TN. There are pastures where cattle and horses graze, hayfields, and acres of corn, cotton, and beans just around the corner. Located on the south side of 5000+ acre Arkabutla Lake, we’re easily accessible via I-55 from the east or US Hwy 61 from the west.
Americana Ranch is a 175-acre family owned horse and cattle ranch. Though we're close to the Mississippi Delta, our land has open meadows, forested woodland, and rolling hills. Folks often say that various vantage points feel more like the Ozarks than what they expected from North Mississippi!
Visitors always comment on how ‘peaceful and refreshing’ our locale is, yet how easy it is to get here! We’re not isolated—'town', and Walmart, are about 15 miles away—yet, we’re far enough away from suburbia to provide a ‘cleansing’ from the frantic pace and clutter of modern life!
We are approximately: 5 miles from Arkabutla Lake, 10 miles from I-55, 25 miles from Tunica, MS, 35 miles from Memphis, TN, 60 miles from Oxford, MS and very far from stresses, pressures, noise, and busy-ness.
We don't just offer 'a pony ride for a fee', but rather...
